What is involved in the trigger group mod for the mag fed G? Would hate to screw up a good collectible trigger group.

Well, it won't be collectible anymore. Tim mills them out almost the same as a BM59 trigger group.

Well I bought a couple of rifles, they are blue sky imports. The barrels take all the bullet on the muzzle test, but they happen to be a IHC and WRA receivers. The Winchester actually has a WRA trigger housing with the milled trigger guard. The rest is pretty much SA parts. The IHC has pretty much SA parts throughout.

Well you get to do what you want with your guns, but for me since they are IHC and WRA receivers I would not do the conversion on those, I would get a Springfield receiver.

Once you make the conversion, you can't turn it back into a regular Garand.

You don't get your own trigger housing back anyways. That is listed on my site. I modify trigger groups well ahead of time and simply swap yours for one I've already done.

I will also make no bones about the trigger housings I use, they may have pitting and were not the best looking specimens to begin with, that's exactly why I use them (when I mill them out most all of that pitting ends up as metal shavings), they are being cut up and modified. Like anyone else, I don't like to cut up good quality stuff that has value in standard Garands. Even my Mini-G 30/06 barrels were barrels that no self respecting shooter would have wanted and the Mini-G gives them new life.
