Someone asked Orest "Is it possible to show a picture of an "average" crate? Or even a few set next to each other." Orlando's reply was priceless and I laughed my butt off. This was a few days after someone asked if they could buy a crate and Orest said "$20 - as is - don't expect much. The ones we are selling are being sold for a reason".

I asked just last week if the CMP had wood crates for sale during my visit and the answer was not at this time. The CMP has actually given away the crates then someone indicated to Orest he should sell the crates.
The CMP is using many of the crates for storage of parts and sorting of ammo.

Here is a picture of the crates.

I got one a few years ago at the NS. wish I had gotten several. I store stocks in it. I think I can squeeze over 50 garand stocks into one crate

I hate you

They were in the chicken coup when I had it removed.

There was a pic somewhere a year or 2 ago,I think in an old GCA journal of massive stacks of the crates being piled and burned. It said some good ones were repaired and sold.
