Just finished a stock set for a BM14 mod.

- Butt end milled and shaped to accept M14 butt plate.
- Finger grooves
- Mag well cut out
- Clip latch cut out
- Rear sling swivel cut milled and reshaped to allow for side swivel

Fine looking stock. Does it fit a Mini G also?

This is inletted and would drop in a mag fed g. I make them like this for standard g without mag too

I think they look good Sean.
So how how hard was it perfecting the inletting for the buttplate , much of a learning curve?

It's not idiot-proof, but not as bad as I had thought it would be. Obviously, it has to be done on a mill. No way to do it otherwise. The first few took me forever, mostly because I was afraid of messing up. Now, they aren't too bad. A little easier than cutting and reshaping for a BM59 butt. Worst part is all the cuts are in a high-exposure area so there isn't much room for error.

I bought a similar stock from Sean, finger grooves, magwell cut, just not the m14 buttplate or side swivel, I do have a BM59 side sling stock feurrel that is going on it though. It's at Tim's right now for a Mag Fed Mini-G build.

I got it unfinished because I like the smell of linseed oil. :)

I'm sure it's going to be a looker when it's all done...

Nice piece of wood also.

That's what she said.

That is a nice piece of work, Sean. I'd love to build a Garand, standard or mini g, with my boy when he gets older. I know where I'll be getting my stock.
