    James River Armory

    I saw they had a repo paratrooper stock for about 170.00 anyone have any experience with these guys. Wanting to put 1 of my IP's in a paratrooper stock.

    Why?? The only company that made M1A1's was Inland. As to your original question I only have one thing to say about them, "Run Forrest, RUN!!!"

    I would bet all the repro stocks are made by the same vendor. I really dont have any first hand experinece with them

    Orlando is correct. There is one company in Italy that makes all of the repo M1A1 stocks no matter who sells them. Most take a little bit of work to fit properly but not hard to do.

    i traded my buddy a set of harley fat bob gas tanks for a new repro para stock.

    here's what i can tell you about mine:

    it's made of walnut with an flat oil finish. the hand guard is the 4 rivet type and matches exactly. very nice looking wood in the military style. there are no manufacturers marks on it.

    the wire stock has the leather cheek piece with brass rivets. everything looks to be correct to the last detail.

    mine was a direct drop in with no fitting necessary. the point of impact on the rifle did not change.

    Sounds like which ever one i buy they all will be the same. I will keep you posted on how mine does as far as fit goes.
