    Ruger 1911 in non stainless????

    Has anybody heard if Ruger has plans to come out with a non-stainless 1911?

    I currently have a Sig 45 in stainless but want the 1911 the way God it entended it to be.

    then you best get one with a spur hammer short grip safety and small sights! the ruger (or any similar style guns) are so far away from the original I sometimes have a hard time calling them 1911's- not that I don't appreciate them for what they are and own a few.
