    New Subject : Optics

I am looking for a scope in the $400.00 range to put on my M1A, minimum of 3x9x40. I have a Burris Fullfield II on it now. Its OK but blurry around the edges and drives me nuts.
Is it possible anymore to get good glass at this price, Any suggestions ?

    I use a Leupold VX-I 3-9X40. I think it was around $230.00.
I don't know if it would fit on a M1A though

Don't worry if plan "A" fails, there are still 25 other letters in the alphabet.

Leupold also acquired the rights to Redfield, supposed to be good glass at a low price.

Check out Millet and SWFA super sniper, I have heard good things about both. I own a super sniper, but the only draw back being that it is a fixed power. The millet is a variable power scope and I believe some are availiable with illuminated reticles. Both scopes are right in the price range you are looking for. Good luck!
