    .300 and .338 Win Mag

Does anybody have headspace gauges for a .300 and/or .338 Win Mag they would be willing to loan for a day or two?

I'd have to be in that same darn ball park, I'd probably get one other use ever if I purchased these things.

But if you had them in the shop would you dink somebody $75 to check HS if the bolt was prepped?

I would dink exactly that probably. Shipping is about $40 and shop minimum is $35.

But if I brought it to your door with the bolt prepped and ready to go $30-40 sounds fair. Especially if I did business there on a regular basis, bullets, cleaning supplies, primers, powder, gun trades, etc.

If brought to my door, and you smiled, and I had the gauge, I'd probably not charge just because I had another human being to talk to. It gets lonely here.
