    $400 USGI Inland Carbine

Sometimes a blind pig finds an acorn.

Pictures when I get off my lazy rear but it has a push button safety, type 2 barrel band, looks to be all Inland except for the slide and barrel.

Underwood 9-44 barrel and some numbnuts ground the ears off the front sight.

I got 3 retro AR's now if you wonder where I've been.

What's up Bro? Sarco had AR kits but without Colt barrels because of the barrel ban.

    Here's the $400 carbine.

Has not been shot in over 20 years! The firing pin barely moves so I will be stripping it this weekend. Only rust was a little around the muzzle tha Whink took right off. Bore looks great but I haven't checked the head space yet. For $400 I wasn't worried too much!

Need to replace that defaced front sight!

Anyone ever seen hash marks like that on the receiver next to the left bolt lug? WTF?

    And here's what "Orlando's SP1" "turned into"!

That upper and barrel will be going on a full fence A1 lower with a collapsible stock and that lower and stock go on my XM16E1. I will be putting a black A1 lower with a trap door A1 stock on a black 603 upper with a pinned and welded (and extra jam nut) 14.5 carbine barrel.

Beat that sucker off of the barrel this morning. PB Blaster over night and it slid off slicker than a ho on a pole!

Won an identical replacement on ePay for $30.

Makes me feel all warm and squishy not having to buy more sheet.
