Sako M39 Mosin with Tiger Stripe Birch Stock

New here, thought I would try and introduce myself with some pictures of a couple of my favorites.

This one is a Sako made Finnish M39 Mosin Nagant. 1942 build on a 1914 hex receiver. Bluing is beautiful, as is the bore. It is a heck of a shooter as well. The bolt is smooth, and the two stage Finn trigger is excellent. The real beauty though, is the wood. Picked this baby up at a local shop for $259...

Thanks. It is a great shooter too, with milsurp ammo to boot.

I have several other Mosins (Type 53, M44, M91/30) but this is the true keeper of them all.

Yep. The stock looks like it has a little more shine in these pictures because I rubbed the excess gun oil on the wood after I was done cleaning it. The copper in the bore cleaned out good and the rifling is almost perfect. I couldn't believe my luck to snag this at that price. It was just sitting on a rack with a bunch of other old and dirty Mosins and beat up Enfields.
