More correct to say GAPPER than SA IHC.....both are technically correct, but SA IHC is more used to describe those early 4M receivers that had the receiver markings similar to yours, but the tang writing/serial number was still in Postage Stamp format........

Its a shame abnout the pitting, I wanted to have it refinished but then the stock jsut would not be right .
I really like the rifle, pitting or not. Looks very good.
