    Custom M14 handguard from LAW483

    Hi All

Here is a photo of the custom M14 handguard that Tony Lawrence built for my Mag G. It is not my rifle, but it is the one now on my rifle. Tony does such great work for me, I had to share. Follow the link and scroll down to the handguard.

My dear Tim, you are a fine man with impecable taste! She looks better on my rifle, and if I ever get around to putting the original BM59 pistol grip on my Mag G i will find someone with a decent camera and post some quality photos. As with all my dealings with Tony, I had to suffer through the prototype stage, I came up with the idea and he created it but as always his work is fantastic!

Isn't that a pretty standard front guard for M14s? What am I missing?

As with all the projects that Tony has done for me, this was a learning experince. First the M14 guard is maybe 4 inches to long for a Garand. Second the retainer grove is in the wrong place and had to be moved, This intails making 3 seperate cuts that need to be joind back together. I did not pay that much for mine, as this was the first Tony had no idea what to charge. Tony does not expect to make a whole bunch of these, but since he now knows how why not make it available to those who might be interested.
