New to Me O3A3 with a Surprise

I got it today. It's a 3.9 Mil Remington with just enough parts to make my SC O3A3 correct. I picked it up on gunbroker for a price that I am too embarassed to print. The 4-groove barrel is dated 7-43 and gauges less than a 1 at the muzzle and the bore shines. The stock still has its FJA cartouche. I'll post some pictures tomorrow. It has me really ecited, but you will have to wait for it.

I just cut myself. Eric, do you have any salt handy?

Yes, Tim. You know that it's beautiful with a like-new barrel. Did I mention that I paid only $350 shipped to me? Another $10 got me a nice 1907 sling. A second @10 got me an "R" marked sight cover. I might shoot it this weekend.

Did I thank Stu for this rifle? Yes, many times.

Don't worry if plan "A" fails, there are still 25 other letters in the alphabet.

But probably not as much as the M1903 I picked up today for $239.
