    Parkerizing a Receiver

    Hey Shuff...

I received one of the not-so-glorious 6 MIL service grades and the finish leaves something to be desired. When you have parkerized rifles in the past with only original finish...how much degradation of the heel stamp occurs? I'm sure most stay just as legible, but did not know.

Also, all barrels come off for refinish per your website?

Thanks for the info. I don't know what to do with it, refinish is my only option...other than sell it back to another wanting owner.
