Tim,
Is the Smith brake still an available installed option on a Mini-G?
Don't see it on the website order form any longer?
Thanks!

I offer them, they are $150.
How much of a difference in recoil/muzzle rise do these really make? I realize this is subjective, but please... In your opinion?
I have read HerkyBird's review that his Smith braked G was the loudest blasting rifle he'd ever fired. Is it that loud that firing one without protection (such as hunting, or maybe a defensive situation) would render you (or others around you without protection) with hearing damage?
The Smith brake is absolutely outstanding at reducing recoil and muzzle flip, it's at least a 40% reduction subjectively.
The Smith brake is absolutely outstanding at increasing percussion or perceived db level and is at least a 10db increase subjectively. I will not hunt without some minor cotton in my ears when using the Smith brake. Just a little cotton, enough but so that you can still hear, does a great job so I can hunt with the brake.
If I have a propane Mr. Buddy heater going in my deer blind, and I fire a Smith braked weapon, the percussion will blow out the heater.
Wowzers. Thanks Tim! How about the shorty BM59 comp? More or less in performance and percussion? About the same?
I have found the 59 brake to act, in my opinion, exactly the same in every regard.
All brakes are noisy. Stand next to a Barrett.
