    Another former Italian Stock re-Converted.

    Had this one around for a while,started and finished it Yesterday.Took it out shooting today.I so love to "Bring Them back"to original configuration.I think I'll leave the Numbers.

    Some folks don't like them, but I kinda like rack numbers! They give an old military gun some character IMHO. Not something I like on a new,refinished or collector type gun, but for a basic used shooter or old battle axe with wear I have no problem with them. I have an old EMcF that has an RIA stamp right on top of the EMcF, several proof P's, an RR stamp on the bottom and a painted rack number on the butt. I'm thinking of putting it on a WRA shooter I'm building up with all 1940's parts.

    I used to remove the numbers,but I thought I'd leave these on.Kind of neat,and as You stated,it will only ever be a shooter/beater stock.
