CT buyers out of luck for CMP ammo.

CMP will no not ship ammunition directly to individual homes after that date. We assume that additional guidance will be provided by CT prior to that date.

CT customers who have already mailed their rifle orders to CMP should provide [email protected] with dealer information or order cancellation instructions. Information can also be faxed to 256-835-3527 or mailed to CMP Customer Service, (Attn: CT Order), 1401 Commerce Blvd., Anniston, AL 36207.

Customers can still come to our stores and purchase and take the rifles with them. However, if they want the rifles shipped to CT, then they will have to be shipped to a licensed dealer.

minnesota is a lot like michigan in that you have socialist gun owners everywhere. Your state is ruled by the democratic party, ours is ruled by many actual conservatives right now but it has voted democrat in the last two elections. I am very surprised that minnesota and wisconsin have not gone the way of the liberal east coast but you do already have some pretty restrictive gun laws compared to michigan.

So far we have been lucky with lobbing against new gun restrictions. We are also lucky that some of the democrats are from the north and are hunters, it is keeping the more severe measures off the table. If only we could get rid of the democrats from the Minneapolis and St. Paul area out off office we would be better off. When you look at all the supporters for gun control they are always from the major cities of the state or the surrounding suburbs.

I think the new Md law is not going after the Garand. It is unclear to me about the M1 Carbine. So now it is NJ,Conn and NY that have loss the mail order from the CMP???

The MD law, for the most part, bans rifles on the old "regulated weapons" list. That includes all AR-15s (unless it has a heavy barrel; the weirdness of that part of the law is inexplicable), all AKs of any type, M1As, BM-59s, and a whole host of others by name. However, the Garand is specifically exempted from the list, by name, and the M1 carbine is not listed at all (i.e. not banned). I guess besides that, we can at least be happy that Rep. Cardin's 50% ammo tax didn't get included in the final bill as passed.

Yes...We have been very lucky. The Northern Dems are so two faced. I believe they are voting for gun rights so they can stay in office. We have to keep a very close eye on them. I just have a bad feeling about "Pro Gun Dems"

There is absolutely NO such thing as a pro gun democrat. A democrat will vote the party line every single time if it has to in a gun control vote. Yes, a democrat will tell you that they are for the 2nd Amendment, it's called a lie. My email is full of replies from democrats I have wrote who say they are voting for gun control bills to PROTECT the 2nd Amendment. In the same replies from these morons they tell me that they thank me for being with them in this fight. ALL democrats are lying, cheating, thieving, no good, sub humans. democrats and those who would vote for them are no better then then the rapist who is serving time in prison, they are despicable.

    Hell...Yeah!!

I hear what you are saying. The Dems here in Minnesota keep getting elected with their last minute statement to protect our gun rights and win votes. I can't stand it to see this happen every year..Here in a state where hunting is the #1 sport and brings in so much money. I believe the younger generation..who sits on the couch all day and never gets outside are a small part of it. They have no clue what is going on. They vote with the crowd with no clue. Just ask a kid what the 2nd stands for. Most...have no idea. We have to educate like our parents did.

Heck, change the voting age to 25. You don't know shit until you get past that age. No real world experience to base your views on till then. All you have is what you learn in high school and college and we all know what kind of propaganda that is shoved down their/our throats during that time.

I will be the first to admit that I was a democrat during high school and my first two years of college. All I knew about politics was the clinton era. I sure did not care for Bush, thought he got elected because of his last name. I didn't have clue as to what a democrat or a republican stood for. (They stand for power, nothing else) Bet your ass that after two years of liberal bullshit, I made sure I was informed.

I just turned 29, I still don’t know everything, but dam it I can’t stand my generation of stupidity.

    Ok end rant.
