    NM M14 stock????????/

I have a couple of new in the plastic M14 stocks that I think are NM stocks. They are birck, and cut very big, and are for rear lugged rifles. they have the part # in the area where the puttplate will go. There is no metal, on these, and no place for the metal that goes where the mag goes in. does anyone know when these where used.

    thanks
    Joe

First off I am no expert on these
Is the stock routed out for bedding or is it already bedded?
Is there a front swivel attached and if so is it NM mod?
Is the number on buttplate 9352638 ?

The number is 9352639. It isn't routed out for bedding, no metal is attached. I am trying to figure out how to post pics.

Double check the number are you sure its not a 8 at the end?
I beleive these were made in the late 1980's and early 90's by Fajen for Govt contract

I am using one of these for my rifle, kinda making my own version of a sniper rifle out of it. I still have 2 that are new never been put on a rifle. Are they worth anything? I only have one rifle, and really don't need the extra stocks.

I'm sure they are worth something. Try e-mailing or PM Mike Baker , he knows more about this stuff than me

Joe ,the stock is Beech not Birch and Orlando is correct they were made as NM stocks for a USGI contact. There is no stock liner and they are intended to be bedded. Value, I would say is $75-and up. I have one just like your pic and mine has such a tight lock up as is that I have not beeded it . Yours should also be inletted for a rear lugged receiver, I know mine is .
    Hope this helps!
