    BM- 14 question

Tim, You sure looked good in those shorts, I did not know it got that warm up there?? SEXXy ,Okay, now that I complimented you....Your rifle work looks to be very nice, I like the rifle you did for Punch and he had great photos...I wanted to know if the mag conversion to the Sa garand rifle can be done and keep the same gas system? As in cylinder arrangement? So I would have the standard size rifle in 7.62 and that big ole checkmate mag hanging out of it? Then, Would i need to purchase the block and needle arrangement for the recoil spring...Trying to fix in my mind just how easy and painless i can have this type rifle...Garand-14M... Oh, And thanks for your reply,,,.OG.

I'm with you, I'm wondering if I can send in a working 308 rifle and have just a mag conversion & catch done.

You can make a mag fed Garand from 16" to standard length with a standard oprod bend and using a standard Garand gas cylinder. That is the most common I do.
