As many of you know the club was using GunPal then GPal to process credit cards. This was a disaster for the club.
What I need to find out from anyone with expierence with PayPal or a similar company is about the accounting and information on persons using the service.
I have used PayPal for purchases on Ebay and understand you get a reciept. What I wonder is if the receipt can be modified to add specific informtion on the club.
I have a general understanding on setting up a shopping cart with Go Daddy so that is not an issue.
I really want to allow people the option of joining immediately on line and allow them to send the info directly to the CMP. So the printed form would become a defacto proof of membership . The form would indicate the expiration is one year from the date of the transaction.
What I do not want to do is have to process each application received over the internet manually. For example I do not have the time to enter each credit card number manually for those applications.
Membership cards will still be issued, but maybe via Email.
Making the process simple will allow me more time to forcus on other improvements to what we can offer, not just on membership.
So any thoughts you guys have would be greatly appreciated.
