This conversion was done in the 60's by Juan Erquiaga. I have to say, it is a very neat way to go about feeding the M14 mag to the Garand. It is a very long way to do it though. Enjoy the photo's.

This mod is similar to me in the mod the Italians did to get to the BM59 when compared to how Golden State did it. Golden state did the 59 with the same result, cheaper, less parts, and maybe better.
