    IHC "Dimples"

Ok, I got my copy of the RED POWER magazine (for IH collectors and enthusiasts) yesterday. The article on the tractor rifles is pretty good and informative. One question it brings up, however is the "dimples" on early v. late production. Apparently the early guns don't have the dimples on the TG lugs and hammer pin. My tractor is early (4.45xxxx). I have a NOS TG in it w/o the dimples. The hammer pin has the dimple. My HRA hammer pin does not have the dimple. I'm wondering if I should switch the hammer pins betwixt the two. What say you?? I know there are still more questions than answers regarding the tractors.
    Thanks.

PS--any one privy to if/when Wayne's book is coming out? I'm 60, and time's running out and I'd really like to get a copy and not have to read it in the here-after.

Thanks Bill. I figured it would be best just to leave them both as is.
