    Just got a little British WWII pea shooter.

    Made in 1938. Project Stanchion. AKA Boys rifle.

    Not 20 mm, could not afford to shoot it.

    British Boys Rifle, RBMkI. Originally in .55 Boys, this one has been converted to ,50 BMG. Turned down Ma Duece barrel.

    I had this on my mind last night and looked thru my Library...Almost decided it was a Jap 20mm.. because of the flash recoil device on the barrel and the lack of the Tall ammo box that sitts up in view of target..Still be a hoot to see it pop..

    There was a beautiful 20mm swiss antitank rifle down in Oklahoma at the state museum...Some of nicest items came from a deceased former collector..Anyway two men had to carry that gun, you could handle theirs and it was massive... with front legs that would support a jeep... and a huge deflector that would fit a field gun...Imagine the side blast...
