    Axis Cousins

    Together again......but they still lost!

The one with the funny rear sight is an all matching including the bolt cover, intact mum, complete useless aircraft sight and monopod, 1939 Type 99 series 22 Kokura Arisaki. The middle one is an all matching 1943 BNZ K98K with a cupped laminated stock and the other one is an all matching FAT M98-41 Carcano. Some of the Carcanos had progressive rifiling....don't think this one does. Anyway we won and they lost!

That K-98 is pretty nice, I did not purchase any of the italian rifles,{only dropped once}, but you have an unusual model... nor Jap..Most had the mum x-ed out...But just chose others..I would wonder about the Aa sights, just how they worked on anything but a bi-plane or a floater..??Which were still in use then..
