    I'm a fan of the 1922.
When dealing with liberals, always attribute to malice what would ordinarily be attributed to incompetence.

The 1922 is great and the 37 ain't "nothing to sneeze at" either. Nice rifles like you said.

Well guys Dad has decided to sell some stuff, I had a feeling he was thinking about it. I will be putting these 2 up for sale soon .I am thinking 2100. for the 1922 . I also have a nice barrel rider scope still in the wooden box. If you think you may be interested let me know . I will be posting them soon. Thanks Tom

Not trying to hijack the thread, just adding to it.
US Springfield M1922M1 NRA "Sales Type", (no M2 mods) topped with a Unertl 10x.
Winchester 52A topped with a Lyman Super Target Spot 25x.

The M1922 is an exceptionally accurate shooter, even better than the 52. And not nearly as ammo-sensitive.
