After 21 years she came back home http://forum.shuffsparkerizing.com/images/smilies/r

I purchased this Mini-14 5F in 1985. It was my first firearm purchase (my dad gave me a 10/22 when I was 12) I WAS 18 YRS OLD AND IT WAS $332.00 at Wolff's Sporting Goods. In 1994 I traded it to my old police Sargent for a Rem 700 VS in 22-250. I eventually re-barreled the Rem to .308 and still have it .A couple of weeks ago I heard old George wasn't doing too well so I decided to pay him a visit as he is 84 yrs old now. During our 4 hour visit and conversation I asked if he still had it and he replied yes. I then ask if he would be willing to sell it back to me and we agreed on a fair price and Shazam. Its now mine again.

Way Cool, My first purchase is a 357 that I have given the seller a standing offer to purchase back and he has not taken me up on it yet.

I still have my first purchase.

A Ruger GP-100 6" stainless that I picked up for $300. I'll be handing that one down to my son.
