    I'm guessing we'll see it up again shortly when the winner doesn't pay. Maybe he thought he was bidding a max of $3,900 and misplaced a decimal? And it's not even in that great shape: look at the locking lugs on the trigger guard, they look pretty worn. And, to top it all off, as far as I can tell the auction listing makes no claim the rifle is correct, in as-received condition and wasn't simply built up from really nice, correct parts. Or am I missing something?

    Found in crate as is after someone assembled it from parts??? Even "if" it were original I cant see how it would be worth half of what it sold for

    there were a few CMP threads that seemed pretty credible that this rifle was NOT correct/original. Either way, $39k is just nuts
