    adding weight to garand trigger

    OK guys, how do I add about a half pound of weight to my garand trigger? getting a little light and it needs to make weight this year (dont want to get DQ'd again for light trigger)

    Put some fine emery cloth between the trigger and the sear, rough side facing forward in the trigger group, and rub left to right. Give it about 5 strokes and check.

    Do just as Tim says, it works. I went to far with a trigger job once and had to add back some weight

    how about trying a new trigger spring? might have settled some
