    Mini-G in 308 vs M1A Scout

    Hi,
This is my first post here on this forum.

I'm deliberating between the mini G and the scout. In favor of the mini G is I like the enblocks and the lack of muzzle devices. In favor of the scout is the extra 2 inches of barrel and easier versatility to mount a scope. I'm not particularly found of having a compensator on the rifle. Flash suppressor would be OK.

I'd like to hear your about your experience/opinions concerning the choice between these two.

    Phil

I cannot comment on the M1A scout, never shot one. I will say that the two inches shouldn't even factor into your decision. 2" equates to about 45fps and nothing on the sight radius. This being said, I or anyone else can make the rifle 2" longer. That's just standard "tanker" length.

200 Yards is a long way.

Pretty close I'd say. Iron sights at 200 yards is not that easy (at least not for me)
When dealing with liberals, always attribute to malice what would ordinarily be attributed to incompetence.
