    I like that stock very much! It has the wet look. I know a guy that gets that appearance with Danish oil, I think that's what it is. Very nice looking rifle.

    Deans uses Deft Danish Oil ,Teak Oil will do the same thing. I dont care for the sheen on my Garand stocks but did these M14 stocks for something different

    Orlando, those M14 stocks are different and absolutely gorgeous. I have found one draw back of the danish oil finish. I had one done in that stuff to give my stock a more "durable" finish for hunting. In all actuality, the danish is less durable. It kind of "chips" off with hard use such as scuffing rock walls or going through thick thorns. The oil finish stocks get marks that seem to "heal". You can literally rub your own sweat on an oil finish stock and the wound is gone. Yes, even Fairtrimmers oil seems to heal decently although not as easily as BLO or Tung.
