    Correct. The barreled action had to be shipped to an ffl so I wont have it until the end of the week. I love the safe act.

    Is it one of the Remington shops trade backs with a new receiver?

    Yup. I got lucky. They either came with the Redfields or OK Weber. I got the Redfield Palma and Olympic front. Some kits came with no iron sights at all.

    Yes again. Again I got lucky as the receiver is not marked with that scan code thing and the barrel just says 7.62 NATO instead of that soliloquy on the newer ones.

    Oh very nice rifle and will be great in new york. I guess you could shoot it once a year after the ammo limit passes HA!
