Identify this sling please

Anyone know the skinny on this sling. Looks to be common canvas web with Garand type keeper but has a loop on one end.
I have just never run across one like it before

BINGO! Just looked at my sling. Hook goes in the "bipod" swivel or "hand grip" swivel, big loop through rear swivel where, say on a Garand, it would normally go. Google, M14E2 web sling and check out the pictures. I saw at least three ways to hook it up! Go to the CMP Forum and then the M1A/M14 section and look at the "sticky" M14E2/M14A1 Pictures thread......many sling pictures.

Mine is hooked in the fore grip swivel like the diagram that came with it (according to "Fred's")........or apparently any of three other ways........assuming I am right about the sling in the first place!
