    Got An Original 1903a4!

I picked up an 03a4. It was kind of a crap shoot as the pics in the ad were horrible. The rifle has the wrong scope but I managed to pick up a correct Weaver. I picked up the correct rings on our Louisville trip but I lost the rear one and I can't find it-it is gone The rifle came completely encased in some sort of preservative that just wouldn't come off. Took 5 hours with every solvent known to man to get most of it off. Still traces but the metal underneath is perfect. Bore is a mirror with a muzzle of 0. Anyway, You guys must think I hit the lottery or something. No, I've been slowly selling off my Leica collection and a couple of rifles to pay for this stuff.

Mike, I knew you would appreciate it. Pack your bags for February. Hey, before then I want to go to the Oaks show in Philly.
