    Op rod rubbing on stock

Just back from the range. I noticed that the op rod is rubbing on the stock. I had no issues with rifles function today. I fire only PPU 150 grain ammo made for the Garand. How critical is this issue and please advise any actions I should take . Much appreciated.

All new production stocks need to be fitted for proper function. There are no exceptions to that rule. If it's really bad, get out the dremmel. Otherwise, sandpaper and elbow grease.

Here is a "How To" on stock fitting I did years ago that covers "some" of the issues on commercial stocks. When I get time I need to redo it and add more. You might find it helpful
