    Mini G Range Report

Took her out and sighted her in at 100 yards using irons. Bottomed out it was shooting 8-10" too high. Emailed Shuff and I'm going to mail back in the rear aperture to be cut down.

No biggie I put on my Primary Arm's Advanced Micro Red Dot and zeroed her in at 100 and placed 12 shots in a sitting position on the ground (forgot my shooting mat for prone):

    Decent grouping.

Went to 200 yards and had at it with a 10" plate. Missed more than I hit but this thing is a smooth shooter:

Yes it co witnesses with the Ultimak rail and the low mount that comes with the PA MD-ADS. But I zeroed at a 1/3 lower as the sight acquisition is faster. Plus... that rear sight aperture was the devil today

When I looked through the rear sight the red dot sits on top of the front post. This was confirmed with another person at the range who was checking out my Mini G.

Perfecto! I'll get another one done and modified so there will be NO delay.

    Mini update:

Shuff got me the new rear aperture within days of him receiving it from me... Big Thanks!

Went out to the 200 yard line and almost got her dialed in. Had limited time as I'm in the peak of my busy season. A few clicks down and this thing will be golden. I just need time to confirm it on paper.

Here's my preliminary irons shooting at 12 clicks up at 200 yards with a full enbloc clip of ZQI M80 Ball 147gr FMJ (Pulled a couple to the right, I felt it):

I'll have her fully dialed in probably in November when my time frees up. Seriously considering another one because of how well this thing handles.

    That looks like Calverton

I'd call it "Stubby" then play with it a lot. Not that that means anything.

I've wanted a Mini-G since I heard of them. I had everything from an old parts-built Garand ready to send once, then found an old Colt revolver I couldn't live without, and that was that. A .308 makes more sense to me because I load and shoot more .308, but the added decibels of the '06 is strangely attractive. My SCAR is incredibly loud,
but might not seem so in comparison.

Congrats. It looks like a lot of fun.
