Hmm, my point has nothing to do with either Punch's or Shooting Sight's. My point is that about 20% of the parts kit 59 triggers suck. Too much metal was ground off the sear and some don't work right, others just feel terrible, many work. I guess I thought this was common knowledge for many with kits. If you have a 59 kit, a new trigger isn't a bad idea.

Interesting. On an M14, the material to be ground off is on the side of the disconnecto, so it is tough to go too far, not that I have seen many M14 triggers that were ground unless they were being fitted to an M1 stock. I did see pictures of BM59 triggers that had the discon ground on top. Not sure how the system works on those.

That would be great if the sides were all that were ground off. The entire tops of the Sears are ground off. Orlando's triggers are a great solution.
