What to do with a CAI receiver?

I’ve got a stripped CAI receiver... not sure what to do with it.

Does the receiver work? Will an oprod stay in it through the entire rearward to forward cycle without falling out or binding at the front?

Hmmm... I know it is more loose than the other M1s I have but I was hoping that was due to there not being a barrel to help keep the guide rod from torquing.

Kind of looks that way. Nice of the “Garand Guy” to give this one up.

That was "The Prince" and I beleve that the NOS op rods are found next to the hen's teeth in aisle 4.
