    Dick's Sporting Goods Discrimination suit?

You know, I'm certainly no lawyer but doesn't refusing to sell to someone of a certain age group when the State law states they are allowed to buy a rifle become a discriminate act?
I understand it would be legal to decide WHICH merchandise you will/will not sell in your stores- such as black rifles, but to WHOM you sell is different, NO?
These people are deciding that counter to State Law they will not sell to people 18-21 of ther own prerogative.
Seems to me if it were anything the reverse, the Demoncrats would be in an uproar.
I mean, that's the same as saying- " I won't sell to a black person, or woman, or man, or gay or hetero or Jew or Christian", or anything or any specific group, regardless of the law, Right?

I have to agree Bob W. I've been pondering this over the weekend myself. I was thinking of not selling or doing business with those over 80. Those over 80 generally have decreased reaction times and higher rates of dementia. Then I would have to hope that someone would sue me and use that case to drive a case against those discriminating against 18 to 21 years olds. Of course this could be skipped if some young adult would just sue these Fsticks and get the show on the road.

Remember the baker that was sued into making the cake for the gay wedding?

Yeah... like that... except without the gay.

Discrimination of the type that supports the lefts agenda will not be considered discrimination. It is that simple.

    Sad,but true.

Just wondering...Wouldn't delta, hertz, best western, and the other companies that got rid of the NRA discounts be a form of discrimination too ?

Again, not a lawyer but I don't feel it would. Offering a discount to a group would seem discretionary to me, like ladies night at the pub or senior discount. Promotional. Not a violation of law like refusing to sell to someone despite the law. If they refused to rent to an NRA member, for example, I think would be discriminatory.

Discrimination based on political beliefs is not prohibited by the federal government. That is exactly why I do not serve communists/democrats/thieves/socialists
