    Winchester Carbine

Buddy called me the other day saying there was a Garand and a Carbine at a gun shop about 1/2 hr away
I jumped in my truck and went to see what they had. The Garand was a overpriced rebuilt rifle $1200
I asked about the carbine and they said $600. Came with mag pouch, two Inland mags ,sling and oiler. I looked her over quickly and said "sold" How could I go wrong ?
Had time to tear her down today and take pictures. I don't know much about carbines but looks like many parts are correct/original. Bore is in very good condition, MW 1.75
Underwood trigger group ,has replacement mag catch and rotary safety
Rifle is in pretty good condition except the stock has been varnished and has a crack that needs repaired. Buttplate is rusty
Front sight are barrel band are Inland

Hard to see but W in slingwell

    Rear Sight has a shield?

At that price point it is my opinion that you did very damn well. That's a $700 minimum rifle where I live.
