It is not possible. The stock is in need of shrinking.

Tim, This is something I've been wondering about as well, what would happen with the BM59 gas cyl and the barrel cut to the length of an M1A? Would this open up your conversions to more stock choices? I wouldn't mind one with an adjustable comb and length of pull. Might be fun to have another chassis around.

I have no idea. I can only say that I called Sage years ago and they said you had to go full length.

Someone machined some Aluminum then. I have made the phone calls to Sage, a Michigan Company, and they assured me that machine work would have to be done.

The pictures don't tell anything at all, better are needed.

I emailed the guy that has it, his description says the work was done by Ted Brown of shooters den with new production Fulton armory op rod to match the 18 inch criterion barrel. Hopefully he gets back to me with more info or pics, his post is 5 years old so we'll see what happens lol.
