    Houston area flooding

Many of you may have seen the flooding and the high water rescues on the news going on in Huffman,TX .
Some of you may know I do live in the small town of Huffman,TX ,which is about 30 miles NE of Houston.
I am just checking in ,the Baker family and the BM59's ,62's and Shuff builds are all dry !
The water is receding in some areas and others are still rising in my area. My house is 500 yards from Lake Houston, but on the high ground.
We were spared but many were not, several of my daughter's friends homes flooded and some were rescued by boat in the middle of the night.
Please keep the flood victims in your prayers !

Glad you guys are OK. Good move building on high ground.

This recent storm is being called the 5th 500-year storm to hit SE Texas in 5 years! My wife and I were stuck for 3 hours due to road flooding on Thursday, glad to hear y'all are dry!

A little late, but I'm glad you were spared from the worst of it.
