    Italian Garands

    Hello!

Tim, do you do work on Beretta, Breda, or Italian-made Danish Garands?

Can BM-59 parts kits be used on commercial M1-A receivers?

M1A/M14 is a radically different animal - so, in short, no. Only good way to have a BM59 in America is to buy an original Beretta or have Tim build one on a GI receiver.

I've got a danish breda m1 receiver that I bought for a BM59 build but since I received it I'm having second thoughts on getting it cut for the BM. I'm wondering if I should keep the breda as-is and just use a more-plentiful Springfield M1 receiver or not worry about it and use it.

Your receiver is "common" but not common as to the other 6 million Garand receivers. Nobody can answer your question, it's about your own personal emotions.
