    rear sight assemblies

I just purchased a HRA garand where all the major parts (receiver, barrel, oprod, bolt) are marked HRA. The windage knob of the rear sight is also marked HRA but since I haven't taken the sight apart yet I don't know if the other sight components also have manufacturers markings. Anyone have an opinion on that; I don't want to assume that it's an all HRA sight if I need to take it apart and check the individual components.

    Thanks,

    Mark S.

The aperture and sight base are unmarked. The elevation and windage knobs are. The rear sight base is the same as most SA's. WRA's and very early SA's had different shaped bases. The H&R M14 bases were marked. Orlando seems to be the sight guru around here so maybe he'll chime in.

Punch pretty much said all I know, only aperture manufacture I can tell is IHC. Supposeably the HRA sight bases will have more smooth rounded edges but they are unmarked
Depending on your serial range the windage knob may be marked DRC or HRA-W

WCE windage are replacement parts, not correct for a original HRA garand sight
