    Barrel profile question?

Tim, my calipers are broken... (don’t buy frankford arsenal).

My brother is converting a tricomp to a 5 inch version for me.
He has a machine shop but is 600+ miles away from me. We know he will need to ream the inner wall of the “comp” area to allow for the barrel to float within the device and not touch the comp walls.
He is ask for the diameter of my muzzle and I have no accurate way to measure it.

Any help on the numbers would be appreciated.

Thank you for the quick reply!

I love this rifle. I hope the Frankenstein brake that my brother makes will work.
I’ll be back with pictures if you’re interested in seeing it?

As an aside. You may remember me having issues with the gun cycling. I even sent it back to you for an evaluation. You had no issues and I ended up sending a box of the NATO spec ammo I used. If I recall the ammo was the cause of the issue. Fast forward a couple years and all of a sudden the ammo that didn’t work is operational!!!
This is the first time I had attempted to use that ammo again. You had fixed the threads on the gas plug so the set screw would be tighter.

I’m crediting the now functioning ammo to what ever you did to the Schuster plug.
    Thanks!

Well, it’s 5 inches on the nose and looks pretty good. It’s just blued so I’ll have to keep it oiled and clean.

I had to get out my magnifying glass but it looks good
When dealing with liberals, always attribute to malice what would ordinarily be attributed to incompetence.

Sorry about that. I couldn’t get the actual size file to load.
