I have a Garand with almost all HRA parts but I'm not sure about the stock. It has the P in a circle, dark wood and is shaped like most HRA stock pictures I've seen, but is missing the eagle in the rectangle. HRA or Not?
Thanks,
Marks

It may have been sanded off.
Im not sure that is a HRA stock. Flip it over and post a picture of the bottom ( round part)of pistol grip

Orlando:
I took a picture of two Garands upside down next to each other. The one on the left has a springfield receiver dated Jan 1944 so maybe the stock is springfield, the one on the right is the mystery stock. Even I can tell they were machined differently. What do you think?20200725_133521.jpg
need more pics and better pics. The one on the left looks like a post war replacement stock

I need more detailed instructions on what kind of pictures are desired. What does "better" mean?
