New M1 Garand Stock

Hi everybody,
I've got a Boyd's Stock and Hand Guard set on my run of the mill M1 that I'd like to replace with a more dimensionally correct (less bulky) one.

Am I headed in the right direction?

unless you really want the CMP logo stamped on it, I'd buy from Dupage Trading. CMP buys their stocks from Dupage. Only difference is the stamp

Dupage lists them "out of stock" right now, but I may just wait.
