    Really? That looks nice, not over done.....did you polish/change lines of the pistol, or just lightly blast it before park?

    That pistol has a long story. I did blast it but it was polished, I think twice, before I got it. I have done maybe 10 of these. I did not change the lines of the pistol but an engraver did enhance the slide.

    Tim may have forgotten but he did a great job for me on a 1911/A1 the guy I was restoring the gun for could not believe it was the same gun. And that guy was an AF gunsmith.

    My Kimber CDP has an aluminum frame done in black and a smoothed slide done in silver. Is there any way to refinish it like a parkerizing? I used to like the two tone, but I think I want to go dark all over.
