So who got in on OOW's M14 barrel sale?

Ohio Ordnance Works was doing some sort of 40-day sale. On Saturday the item of the say was m14 barrels. They were advertised as used HRA's but in good to excellent condition for $200. I received mine today and Wow. The muzzle is less than 0 and looks great. Of course the park is worn a bit but I'm happy.

Now to buy a receiver and CMP A kit.

This may take a while then. I hate paying retail. I saw some on the CMP the other day. A guy was selling some that were new in wrap and some that were used. I didn't bother with the prices because I figured a guy thats got a dozen bolts knows what to sell 'em for. Did I make a mistake or was it worth passing on?

There was a guy on the CMP forum that was selling M14 bolts for good prices (~$150 for a used bolt) but they didn't last long. If I had the extra cash I would have gotten a few and made some $$$ reselling!

Damn straight! They would have been "spare parts" for a little while though.
