It's a neat rifle sir. The only thing that would bother me, if I was going to hunt with it, is the M1C setup. I don't like offset scopes and I don't like heavy. You would probably also have to stick to 7/8 scope? Now, to shoot at the range, PRETTY NEAT.

Tim mine has 1" rings. You can just call G&H and get the top not cheap but available.
