Oh For The Good Old Days-When Handguns Were The Source Of All Evil

Wasn't that long ago. I miss those days.

Stu, I thin k I am going to invest in the stock of all firearms companies that make the 1911 and copies. At least here in NY I think it will soon be the only semi-auto handgun we will be able to own, due to is 7 round capacity. How ever that does not bode well for our beloved Garabds that have an 8 round capacity. we will have to see!!!!!!!

What did happen to those incredibly evil 'Saturday Night Specials'? Did they evolve into EBR 'assault rifles'?

Handguns are just old hat to me now. They're so 1990's!

Sean is correct.Start hoarding black powder and get Your Navy colts from cabelas while you can. Those will be the last to go with their high capacity cylinders of black powder death.

Actually the way to go is an Uberti 1858 rem with an r&d conversion cylinder. Loaded with a .452 250 grain bullet on top of 35 grains 3f magnum large pistol primer and case drilled out with a 41 drill bit. That is a nice hand cannon.

.45 ACP works also Mike. But you actually can load the 45 colt hotter than acp. I can exceed 1000 fps with the 45 colt with blk powder and with a heavier bullet.
