    Schuster Muzzle Brake

Anyone used the new Schuster brake? I looks almost like a BM59 type. Might be a nice alternative to the smith brake. I'm not big on the BM59E brake as some fitting is required.

    Hey Justin,
Did you put this brake on your rifle?
If so, how do you like it?
    Thanks!

No I went with a BM59E brake I had in the parts bin, I'm sure they are fine, they all work pretty much the same way. If I were to buy one new it would be a Schuster. You can always do a surplus BM59E brake from standard parts as well. I think they are a little cheaper.

On the BM59Es, I used a dremel to relieve a bit on the underside of the BM59E brake where the gas screw passes when you install it, the threads on the gas screw seems to bite the BM59E brake a bit in this area and mar it.

I sent it along to Tim to make it all pretty before he installs it on my mag fed mini-g. I would assume the schuster would not have this issue...
